For grammar and  vocabulary covered in the textbook, students will be given a Practice Test and then the next day a Final Test. Students will correct the Practice Test in class with a GREEN pen.

 If students have an A on the Practice Test, they may opt out of taking the Final Test. 

If they have a B or lower on the Practice, they must take the Final.  If they have a B on both tests, the higher B will count. 

In all other situations the Final Test grade counts.

Whenever possible students will be allowed to re-test on Translation tests on which they would like to improve their original score. The re-test must be taken within one week of  the original (unless the student is absent, and then an extension will be given.) The higher of the two scores (original or re-test) will count.
